The set includes two chunky walkie talkie handsets (one featuring Thomas and one featuring Percy), both complete with aerials and rather trendy flip-down mouthpieces.
Simply turn the handsets on, and either press the dialling pad to hear Thomas and Percy talking to each other, or press on the "talk" button on each handset and have a conversation with a friend.
The manufacturer states that the walkie talkies have a range of almost 60 metres in "open-field" conditions, but in application, it's likely that small children will have a perfectly fine time nattering to each other in the confines of the average garden or living room.
