Customer Reviews: Old games second time around June 30, 2010 Mrs. A. Burden Hungry Hippos is not a terrifically old game, but old enough not to be found in stores and toy shops. I was looking for a new, unopened game at a price not inflated and almost immediately available.
Found at Amazon on first visit with all requirements met. I saved time and effort and I was very pleased. The game was delivered within two working days.
Tracking available from Amazon of your purchase is another added bonus.
Hungrey Hippo April 4, 2010 Mrs. Charlotte Heap (Yorkshire, UK) This game is OK, my daughter likes it...but it is not very robust, looks bigger on the box and does not hold attention for long!

Ahhh, Hungry Hippos, a game that has probably lost out to the Nintendo Wii in recent years.
I dug this out of the loft the other week when sorting through my old toys. I engaged my 5 year old nephew in a game when his mum brought him over. It brought the memories flooding back to when my sister and I played it, with the problem of the balls flying off the gaming arena due to the frantic pounding of the levers still occuring in 2010!
To its credit, Hungry Hippos is a very sturdy game, it can take a hell of a pounding and survive.
If you've got some little people with lots of energy to burn, then sit them around Hungry Hippos, just make sure you have some ear plugs on standby!
