LEGO Star Wars 8038 The Battle of Endor Review July 19, 2010 Dreambill Although not a favorit Lego for me, my son got crazy with it, mostly because of the numerus figures that included in this kit. Typical Lego quality, recomended if priced as an offer.
everything you expect from lego June 2, 2010 Kathryn (Italy) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is everything you expect from lego, very professionally designed, fun to put together - my son has been asking for this for his birthday for 6 months, I thought it might be a bit old, and there are a few mechanisms that are a bit old for an eight year old, but I did those and my son did everything else, the clone walker is well balanced and even if it falls off a table its easy to fix and the legs I don't think would ever break. The space station and everthing else is brilliant, my son is chuffed with all of it.
The LEGO main event! May 4, 2010 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This set in my point of view is one of the best LEGO Star Wars packs ever released filled with detail and accuracy. The set includes 12 minifigures, Princess Leia in Endor battle version, Han Solo, R2D2, C3P0, 2 Rebels in Endor battle version, 3 Ewoks, 2 Scout Troopers and a Death Star trooper, each one designed with extreme detail and accuracy. The set also contains 2 bike speeders 13cm long and 3cm wide, an Ewok glider in which you can drop LEGO stones onto enemies of your choice, a catapult also firing LEGO stones,an AT-ST machine with moveable legs and the Imperial Endor base which comes with explodeable walls. This pack is extraordinary and worth very much money, this pack is arguably the LEGO main event!
Great fun but takes AGES to build!!! March 14, 2010 Jennifer 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this toy for my son's seventh birthday. He loves Star Wars Lego so this seemed a good choice. There are loads of figures which come with this set: 3 Ewoks, Han Solo, Princess Leia, 2 Scout Bikers and Imperial Trooper, two rebels AND R2D2. My son loved putting these figures together. The base itself took longest to build and was quite fiddly to put together. Recommend if your child wants a longer kind of lego project...a job for mum and dad for younger kids!! Overall this is a great set. My son was most pleased with all the different characters which he has had hours of fun with mixing up and using with the rest of his lego kit. Whilst themed lego is fun it takes a bit of the imagination out of Lego and I have found my son prefers to mix up all the lego and make his own creations after the initial set has been built and the novelty worn of...which I suppose is the beauty of Lego!
winner! January 10, 2010 davemcg (belfast) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Very expensive kit but everything and more my son was looking for! At age 6 all you want is the people and it has 12! Sanra brought him this and he has played it daily since! Took my husband, dad and brother 2 days going in shifts to build it though and the walker is so fragile every time he moves it I panic cause I would not be able to build it again so not suitable for any kid who is a bit rough with kits or someone a bit younger! very fast delivery perfect condition, winner!
