Grat Fun Poor Quality June 21, 2010 J. Desmarais 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
While the overall flight, stability and quality of the toy is good, I have found the charging and battery life wanting. The box did not include the USB cable. The charging never ends like they suggest. The flight time is 90 seconds tops after an hour of charging, until the battery is too weak to lift it. All in all very disappointing. Perhaps this one is just a dud, but if so they I've had a bunch of duds this is the second one of these type of toys I've tried. Very disappointing.
Helicopter May 14, 2010 Mrs. F. Wainwright (Hartlepool, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love the helicopter, quite difficult to master and after several attempts it crashed and broke the top part off the rotar. Replacements wings given but not for the rotor so unable to use now! Any replacement parts available?
The best yet Dave Burdin. February 11, 2010 Mr. Dw Burdin 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have received my V-Max this morning, and cannot believe the flying capacity of this small machine.I have had numerous remote controlled helicopters before with not a great success rate of keeping them in the air for more than a few seconds. This is a beautifully designed piece of machinery and very easy to fly.Just read the simple instructions and get going.Another good fact about this product is that you can charge the main battery from your computer via the charging lead supplied, making the batteries in the controller last much longer.
IT'S NOT 3 CHANNEL - BE WARNED! February 10, 2010 noh1 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I never do reviews but I have to quickly post this because these helicopters are advertised quite clearly as '3 channel' - i.e. if you spend £52 like I just did for 2 of these for my children, you could set them to two different channels so the controllers don't inhibit each other. BUT THEY'RE NOT 3 CHANNEL! There's a 3 channel setting on the controller - but not on the helicopter itself. So either of the controllers will control either of the helicopters. I've pointed this out to Homemart who sold it, and await a satisfactory explanation. Doubly annoying if, like me you went round to somebody's house and saw friends flying two much cheaper PicooZ together, and thought that'd be fun but I'll buy two more expensive models!
Best so far ( 5th ) mini helicopter ! February 2, 2010 S. Irwin 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having had 3 single rotor and one twin rotor mini helicopters before this one, I have to say this is easily the best !
Stability is its strong point. Its just hangs there in front of me, waiting to be steered wherever I want.
With my others I set myself the challenge of taking off from a stool in the lounge, circuiting the room twice, then landing back on the stool. I did it about 4 times before this machine, which can do it EVERY time !
Dont know if having flown gyrocopters for real makes it easier, but this rewards a careful owner with very controllable flight.
It has crashed a few times when I first got it, but it did not suffer at all.
