I bought this for my 6 year old daughter (although my 4 year old daughter also loves playing with it). She is just starting to get into Sylvanians and has been pleased with this camping set. I feel it is good value considering it comes with a character. It is very sweet, although my daughters have not really played with all the little bits, just the character, the tent and sleeping bag. Perhaps the more intricate pieces will get played with at an older age.

As with all Sylvanian family toys these include some very small pieces, but the set is very sweet and my daughter loves it and really uses her imagination (and patience) when playing with it. As far as these kind of toys go, Sylvanian families are one of the more charming available, and will hopefully give years of pleasure. The more you have the better, as alone this has only limited play potential.

I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday, as she has other sylvanian families toys, and had seen this one. It is great for imaginative play and you often hear her chatting away with them all upstairs. As with all the Sylvanian toys, I think they are a little bit overpriced, but they are cute. Keep hoovering bits of them up though.

Such a cute set! However not very strong as the headband broke as soon as my daughter tried to secure it on one of the creatures. The tent didn't fit the frame terribly well either. Despite being a little flimsy she really loved it and I would recommend it.
