Synopsis
At forty feet long, Parasaurolophus weighed a ton!-actually two. With interesting features such as the crest on its head and a rounded beak, this dinosaur is not easily forgotten. The crest may have served three purposes: one, to produce a distinct call; two, to improve his sense of smell; and three, to attract a mate. Even though it didn't include teeth, the beak was a great help in reaching the freshest vegetation.
Fun Facts: This long crest could be six feet long, as long as the average adult human is tall!
