Don't Buy this peice of junk! November 28, 2007 A Woman (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I brought this for my Daughters Birthday, something she was really looking forward to recieving. What an absolute waste of money. It does not work! No matter how many times you say the password, the damn thing will not open. It seems not to regognise anything, even the time, date etc. We were forever resetting it and always needed to put a screwdriver to it. If you were looking for this as a Christmas pressent then don't bother. Buy something that will not make your child cry in frustration....
Not worth it November 25, 2007 Ian Winslade (London, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My daughter got this and it makes no difference how you try and do it the journal rarely understands the spoken commands. Usually have to reset it to get into it. Waste of money and I agree with other reviewers, wish I had thought to return it, it really does NOT do what is says on the tin!!
A load of crap... March 27, 2007 Lilly Chekhov (London) 25 out of 26 found this review helpful
We could not get it to work with or without the password. Instructions were clear, but it just does not open up. I got it for a young friend. Poor child got excited for nothing. Just disappointment. It was nearly going under a hammer. We are very frustrated. I am sending it back first thing tomorrow. I do not recommend it. No stars..
Needs a bit of practice March 4, 2007 Sacerdote (London, England) 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
My eight year old daughter got one of these for her birthday, and it's been on of her best presents. It does take a bit of getting used to, as you have to say the password the same way, and quite close to the microphone. That was a little frustrating at first. Once you've got the hang of that, though, it's fine. My daughter loves the fact that only SHE can open it, not her family or friends, even if they know the password. It's reasonably robust, and to my eyes, has a bizarre colour scheme. Still its not designed for me and my daughter wanted to give it 5 stars.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY January 11, 2007 D. A. Hawkins (derbyshire in uk) 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
My two daughters ages 7 and 8 both had this for xmas. From the start when trying to put in data we found ourselves repeating ourselves as the voice control kept asking the same old question and didn,t seem to understand what we were saying. These have an rrp of [...] each and to be honest are well over priced. Fortunately I,ve managed to take them back from where I brought them for a full refund.
