i bought this for my grandsons first birthday and he absolutely loves it well worth the money he loves using it as a rocker and as the driving wheel comes of he takes it in the car would recomment to anyone
OK - but there are much better ride ons. September 17, 2008 S. Williams (UK) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I like Vtech toys. They are great for learning providing they don't stop working, which I have found that some do easily - I know, I bought a glut of them when my son was a little baby. Recently we gave him the Vtech ride on, which had been stored since 6 months for his 1st birthday as we found it unsuitable for a 6 month despite it being advertised as 6-36 months. We set it straight up to the ride-on mode. I have found that the wheels stick and they don't turn as there is no steering - which I believe is a necessary feature for riding around small living rooms - and it is very difficult for him to mount as the side bars are rather wide. I have taken the interactive part of the toy off the rather useless ride-on as the toy is much better like this. Long story short - if you are looking for a ride on - buy something else like the excellent Leapfrog alphabet train.
Not interested yet, but a good quality toy! September 12, 2008 Jill(London) (London) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 1 year son in his first birthday, unfortunately he seems not interested in sitting in it yet..Hopefully he will 'grow' to love this toy. However , definitely ,it is a good quality toy. The iritating part is the man who sing the song is not a great singer. I prefer a lady singing it.. Overall, no complaints on any defects.
absolutely brilliant December 5, 2007 Redcrop (Kent UK) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I am writing this review as my son has had this now for 12 months and it is still something he plays with every day. He moved from rocker to ride quite quickly but he is quite large for his age. He has learnt alot of words from this and I would highly recommend it.
Varied Toy May 30, 2007 S. Hampson (Bucks, England) 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
What a wonderful toy! My 9 month daughter adores it and so do I. The words/songs are pronounced using good, clear English. The variety of options is huge so your child won't be bored after 5 mins. The toy adapts to the child's age & ability too so although it's expensive, it will outlast all the age-specific speaking toys you may buy. I'm expecting a good couple of years play from this item.
