Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Cupboard Lock great   July 12, 2008

I did not buy this lock through Amazon, but unlike the previous reviewer I have found it the best cabinet lock for my dual door kitchen cupboards so far. My 2 year old son does not open the doors and has although can see what he needs to do still has not actually managed to open the lock. We have T style handles and it works well but I would carefully think about your style of handles before buying any cabinet lock

1 out of 5 stars Rubbish Locks   March 23, 2008
Raven (Edinburgh, Scotland, UK)
I didn't purchase these locks on Amazon but bought them from my local Asda & they are rubbish!
My kitchen cupboards have curved handles on them & one of those cupboards I use to store my toolbox & bits n bobs because living in a small flat, there's not much storage space! My 1yr old son can get the tool cupboard door open relatively easily despite it having one of those locks on it. All he has to do is keep pulling on the doors & the lock will come apart due to one bit getting moved per pull then nxt time round the other bit comes up to join it & so forth until its apart. Don't buy these locks please.

TBH I find its easier to buy a short thin chain (similar to a dogs collar) & use a little padlock (like on for suitcases) just keep the key up high in a safe place - much more efficient & safer!
