The Mama SURE has 3 preset programs for incontinence use:
Programme A: A long series of quick electrical impulses - like programme B - not encouraging me to pull is as much myself - while the experience is happening you don't feel it's doing much except creating these not unpleasant impulses. But when it finishes you feel the muscles in the vagina relax and realise how much it has been pulling up the muscles of the pelvic floor.
Programme B: Same drawing in sensation as C but not as strong and feels like lots of quick electrical impulses drawing in the muscles of the vagina - a pleasurable tapping/ throbbing sensation - not encouraging me as much as programme C to draw the muscles in as well.
Programme C: Feels like a strong squeezing in of the muscles in the vagina - pulling up the pelvic floor - my natural reaction is to pull the muscles in and up as much as I can with the contraction of the unit.
The programmes each last for 20 minutes: For Urge incontinence use Mama SURE use twice a day. For Stress incontinence use the MamaSURE once a day or even once every other day. Stop the unit if your muscles start to ache. The Mama SURE is supplied on an eight week rental basis but the rental can be extended on a monthly basis if necessary.

The birth of a child can affect and weaken a mother's pelvic floor muscle. This can cause continence problems which the Mama Sure can rectify. Twelve weeks after having had a baby if incontinence problems have not been resolved by simple pelvic floor exercises, the use of the Mama SURE is recommended. What is Incontinence? There are three forms of incontinence: Stress; Urge; and, Mixed. *Stress Incontinence describes the involuntary leakage of urine when a person coughs, sneezes, strains or makes sudden movements. *Urge Incontinence describes an overactive bladder.*Mixed Incontinence is a combination of both Stress and Urge Incontinence. Childbirth stretches these muscles out of shape. Unless you remember to do your pelvic floor exercises regularly and correctly (it's easy to work on the wrong muscles), they can stay weak and tire quickly. If you fail to use the muscles, the nerve pathways you use to sense pressure and control the muscles also weaken (try moving your little toe by itself!). Once muscular strength has been improved, you are better able to resist leakage caused by external pressure being applied to the bladder such as with a cough, sneeze or sudden movement. In the gym, you cannot build a perfect six pack overnight. In the same way, with STRESS Incontinence improvement comes slowly with the building of muscle fibre and nerve sensitivity. Great product - can't tell you if it's working yet ;-) but simple to use and good price!
