Great idea but overpriced November 11, 2008 CupcakeCP (essex england) I used these for my first child but not my second - as a first time mum I changed my daughter the minute there was the slightest hint of moisture in the nappy but when the second one arrived I'd realised nappies are so good these days (big up to Tesco own brand - no affiliation) that they don't need changing so often. If this system appeals to you then it does work, it is a good idea and it does save the choice between a dustbin trip or leaving a whiffy nappy lying around on the landing. Not recommended for soiled nappies once solids are introduced as the smell does permeate!
May seem pricy but you won't regret it! June 30, 2008 Ms. S. Daniels (London, UK) Whilst the cassettes may be a bit pricey, as the previous reviewer said - to be able to keep the nappies in a smell free bin saves so much hassle and you don't have to worry about emptying the bin every five minutes. My daughter is now 2 months old and I am on my second cassette (albeit the 0-6 months one) and I think I've still got a good 2 weeks (at the very least left) so it definately copes with way more than 28 nappies!!!
Very useful system, a good idea June 18, 2008 Princess Gilo (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm not sure what the previous reviewer M Gledhill is talking about, as this nappy wrapper cassette will wrap up to 120 nappies, not 28! Not sure you are reviewing the right product mate! Plus (and this is the point they've really missed) you use the cassette with the Tommee Tippee Wrapper tub/bin, which wraps nappies for you when you drop in the soiled nappy and seals the smells away. There are a few manufacturer's now selling this type of system, and it's a clever idea. OK it's nothing revolutionary but my sister has one and you can use it with one hand in a flash and it stores the used nappies in a hygienic way so you can empty the bin in one go, which is very handy - you don't have to keep going out to the dustbin every time you change a nappy!
What a rip-off... March 23, 2008 M. Gledhill 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
5.49 for a cassette to cope neatly disposing of 28 nappies ?! Do the maths, this is one of the most pointless, expensive items you can buy for your baby. I bought one during my "buy everything we MIGHT possibly need for our baby" period, and it's the only purchase I truly regret. Buy yourself a pack of nappy bags from Woolies/Wilkinsons, or even some freezer bags (they're thicker so won't rip, and will hide the smell !) and you'll save yourself a fortune compared to buying these overpriced cassettes.
