Versatile and comfortable May 14, 2008 R. Newport (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this pushchair because it folds down much smaller than many 'big' prams, and fits very easily into our smallish car boot (we have a Skoda Fabia). It consists of a basic, very light chassis that you can attach the main seat, Creatis car seat or carrycot onto. I used it with the car seat initially and it's very compact and lightweight when you're using it like that. It is quite heavy with the main seat on, however the seat clips on and off so easily, I generally put the seat and chassis in the car separately to save my back! The Creatis car seat is excellent. Feels really robust, baby looks comfortable in it, however it is a little heavier than some more basic car seats and I could never carry my baby around in it without the pram. If you do get the car seat - get the base as well, it makes installing the seat far, far easier. Without the base, you have to fiddle about with the seatbelt underneath the car seat and it's all a bit of a hassle. With the base, it just clicks in. We also have the cosytoes, which is expensive (about 60) but it's so lovely and warm and looks really comfortable. The changing bag is also good because it has a changing mat that clips onto the outside of the bag - sounds strange, but it looks really good, and works well. There's also a parasol. The rain cover works well, but can be a bit tricky to zip onto the hood. However the hood is really big, so I rarely use the rain cover. Downsides. I agree with the previous reviewer that the basket is a bit rubbish, but I think that's the price you pay for having it fold so compactly. I can't steer mine with one hand, which makes some smaller doorways a bit tricky.
Easy and comfortable but not perfect April 26, 2008 C. Turner 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found this pushchair great! I loved the first few months when I used it with the creatis car seat. It was so nice and easy being able to transfer from car to pushchair without disturbing my daughter and the frame is so light and easy to get in and out of the boot. It looks quite wide but I never had any problem getting through any doors and have always found it easy to manouver. Another bonus is not having to get down on the floor to change wheels from swivel to straight its all done on the sides. Now my daughter is older I tend to use the pushchair seat wich she seems to find very comfy and I find it easy to adjust when she's sleepy. As with all pushchairs they are not perfect. My only complaints would be the basket is quite hard to get to, but it is only meant for a few bits and pieces not lots of heavy shopping and has never really caused me too much bother. When folded in pushchair mode I find it quite heavy to lift into the boot compared to when I just used the frame on it's own (although I've never had another to compare the weight?) And finally some of the accessories are quite pricey.
