convienient but beware August 31, 2008 L. Stephens Have used this product whilst on holiday to save time with sterilizing and all that bottle washing stuff. The first few bottles were a disaster untill we worked out how to secure the lids properly (take your time otherwise you will end up with milk everywhere!)Once we worked out that you have to line the thread up and make sure it clicks 4 times they were brilliant and my son didnt mind taking his feed from them either. We are going on holiday again soon and will be using this product again as they are very convienient and excellent value for money. To anyone that is wary maybe do a couple of practice runs at home with them first, but once you are used to them im sure you will use them time and again for those trips away from home.
really handy July 1, 2008 love books! (UK) I have used these bottles loads and they're fantastic! I have taken them on a 7hour plane journey where you could no easily take ready made up bottles and have them stored safely at the correct temp. They are probably best used with the ready made cartons as I cant see why you'd want to make a feed using powdered milk in them when you could just use ordinary bottles for that. Just make sure the top is on the threads correctly and screw the lid on as tightly as you can, anyone whose bottles leaked you have not screwed the top on properly! All in all I highly recommend these used with cartons of ready made formula for long journeys or if you're out all day as you can just throw them away when youre finished, no need to carry bottles home to wash at the end of the day!
waste of money March 15, 2008 Sara Quinn (belfast) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these bottles for going away for an over night stay. I made up 3 bottles so I wouldn't have to carry the formula with me and on giving my daughter the first one i knew it was a disaster. the bottles leaked all over her and I, the teats had a very strong rubber smell and she just wouldn't drink from them. Thank god for 24 hour Tesco, because I had to rush out and buy new bottles, teats, formula, sterisling tablets. I would never subject my daughter to that experience again.
My baby and I don't like it February 1, 2008 Carol (Chigwell, UK) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I also thought this was a good idea for travelling or out going. So I try this at home first. My baby drink 9OZ of milk. This bottle is up to 9OZ. I put 9oz water and it is not tall enough to put milk powder, anyway, it was such a mess. I try the carton ready use milk. But my baby need to have warm milk. So I try to warm it up and it took ages to warm it up because the bottle is quite thick. The bottle and teat smell strong plastic. The bottle also leak badly. I try one pack of 4 bottles and they all leak. So I will never buy it again. My baby didn't like it and didn't drink much. So I end up using the normal one to feed her. The plastic bag is hardly tear, I ended up using scessors and I don't know how I can open it on the plane without scessors?
waste of milk December 13, 2007 P. Henriksen 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought these as I thought it would be a great idea for travelling. However they are so hard to assemble with the result of spilling milk everywhere. First place was infront of the security in Stansted airport with myself and the baby covered in milk just before travelling. They also smell really bad of plastic. I tried to use them 4 times and all 4 times they leaked - then I gave up and discarded the rest.
