| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Now your baby can enjoy a comfortable upright sitting position from around 4 months with this South African designed Grobag Bumbo Baby Sitter. Simply pop the moulded Grobag bumbo baby sitter supportive shape on the floor and sit your baby inside. Because the material is soft, your babies body weight and pressure narrows the gap above their legs slightly so they sit safely and securely without the need for fiddly, restrictive straps. Your little one will love the independence to look around and use their hands.

not suitable May 29, 2007 Lilly Rose (Osnabruck, Germany) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have owned this product since my baby was 4mths old. It was not suitable to support my babys' head. It's no fun to eat in because there's no head support so baby is constantly wobbling and turning around to eat. It is best just to sit in for a while when baby can support itself properly around 6mths old and just have a look around. My baby is now 8 1/2mths old and can wriggle himself out so soon it will be of no use. For the time span of usage it claims i'm not seeing it doing that. One would still need a high-chair and therefore this product would not make a sensible buy.
Be seated! May 9, 2007 DangermouseZilla (Doncaster, Yorkshire, UK.) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Of my two daughters, one would simply get out of the Bumbo whenever she was placed in it (Olivia always was an awkward one!!!). From about 5 months she could lift and wriggle her way out. Our second daughter will sit in it for a little while quite happily, and it allows her to look around and be nosy. She seems relatively happy in it for short bursts of time. As the description and documentation says, baby may be able to climb out, so always make sure you are with them.
