Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars A bit disappointed   January 4, 2009

I bought this garage for my 18 month old son because my dad has an old Fisher Price garage which is fantastic. This one is pretty disappointing mainly because the lift gets stuck and I find it difficult to move up and down, there's no way a toddler would be able to move it on their own. I say Fisher Price should return to the old way of winding the lift up and down. That said my son does get a lot of enjoyment out of playing with the garage.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent choice   December 29, 2008

This is the best Christmas present I bought my 17 month old son this year for sure. From the moment he opened it he must have played with it for over 3 hours during the day, and is the toy he goes back to time and time again. Yes, the lift does stick slightly and he is not able to operate it himself at the moment, and they could give you more than two cars ... however, saying that he has found lots of existing cars, bits of lego, bricks, etc. that whizz down the spiral ramp to his great glee and amusement. He absolutely loves it and I am really pleased I bought it for him.

2 out of 5 stars They don't make them like they used to   December 29, 2008

This toy isn't as fun and interactive as it should be simply because it isn't made well enough! It is easy to build and is sturdy, withstanding the full force of a toddler. However the lift to take cars back to the top of the ramp sticks and jams - there's a definitely knack to it, which is frustrating for a toddler and a bit much to expect of them. The cars also don't tip out of the lift at the top as they should.
Having only two vehicles included is also quite limiting, and not all shapes and sizes of other cars fit down the spiral ramp.
