The toy is lovely but absolutely awful quality January 8, 2009

My daughter was thrilled with this for Christmas but within an hour all but one of the pegs that hold the utensils on had come out and one of the utensils had broken. It's a real shame that such a pretty wooden kitchen is so badly made - unfortunately it makes me want to buy plastic in future! We have managed to mend it by putting screws into the pegs to hold them in place but this was an expected hassle and we would not buy this brand again.
Lovely toy but poor quality December 15, 2008

My 2 year old daughter loves this toy but after playing with it for just 4 days, the paint on the saucepan is chipped to bits and 2 of the wooden peg fittings have broken - lovely toy shame about the inferior quality

This is a very attractive toy. It's just such a shame that the build quality is so poor. Many of the fixing screws were loose or had missed their pilot hole. A screw at the front had broken through the side of the unit. The oven grill inside was snapped in two. Given, the prospect of returning the unit with no guarantee of a replacement by Christmas, I opted to repair it and reinforce elements of its poor assembly. I just hope it lasts, else I will have a very disappointed daughter.
